Taki Hasegawa

Head of AI

Taki is the Head of AI at ReflexAI, which she joined as its first employee. At ReflexAI, Taki has led the development of the AI models powering the platform's training simulation and scoring tools. Previously, she was the lead AI engineer at The Trevor Project, where she worked on the Crisis Contact Simulator—an award-winning training simulator for mental health counselors. Throughout her career, Taki has applied AI and engineering to high-impact problems across a diverse range of fields. At a top-10 architecture and engineering firm, she designed plans to help communities recover from natural disasters and built pollutant models to guide those recovery efforts. At Mercedes-Benz R&D, she developed software for next-generation autonomous vehicles. Taki holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
